Dimagh — Privacy Policy

Dimagh ("the app") is a puzzle game published by Craftbit Studios ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles.

What we don't collect

• No Dimagh accounts, no chat, no user-generated content. (Optional Google Play Games sign-in is handled by Google; see below.)
• We don't collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location or payment details.
• We don't sell personal data.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress (levels solved, stars, bulbs, settings, daily streak) is saved on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes it, unless it was also backed up to Google Play Games (see below).

Motion sensors

Some puzzles read your phone's motion sensors (tilt, flip, shake) while that puzzle is open. The readings are used on the device only and never leave it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address and app-interaction data to show and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalise ads.

• In the EEA, UK and other places where the law requires it, you are asked for consent before personalised ads, and you can change your choice any time in Settings › Privacy choices.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Android settings.

Buying "Remove ads" or the starter pack turns off ad breaks and banners. Optional reward ads (which you choose to watch) remain available.

Purchases (Google Play)

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation of what was bought so we can deliver it; we never see your card or payment details. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Play Games (optional)

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, Dimagh uses it to back up your game progress (levels, stars, bulbs, streak and settings) to your Google account, and to record achievements and leaderboard scores (your Dimagh score and best daily streak). This data is stored by Google Play Games under your Play Games profile; your profile name may be shown on leaderboards. You can sign out or manage your Play Games profile in the Google Play Games settings. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Analytics (Google Firebase)

To find levels that are too hard or confusing and to keep the game stable, Dimagh uses Google Firebase Analytics. It records how the game is played, for example: a level was started, solved, skipped or left; how long it took; how many hints were used; when an ad or a purchase screen was shown; and daily-challenge streaks. With these events Firebase collects an app-instance ID (a random ID for this installation, not your name or email), your device model, Android version, app version and your approximate country (from your IP address).

We use this only in aggregate to improve the game. It is not used to identify you, not sold, and not combined with your Google Play Games profile. Firebase is run by Google; Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted.

Children

Dimagh is suitable for everyone and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We'll update this page when the app's data practices change and change the "Last updated" date.
